95.1 WSNJ Debuts as the New Home for Active Rock

Loud Media proudly announces the launch of 95.1 WSNJ, Wilmington and Southern New Jersey’s new home for active rock. With its debut, WSNJ emerges as Wilmington’s Rock Station—a high-energy outlet devoted to guitar-driven music from the 1990s and 2000s. Branded on-air as “Wilmington’s Rock Station,” the station delivers a fierce blend of rock classics and modern anthems with no filler and no fluff.

The new 95.1 FM signal expands WSNJ’s reach into Wilmington, Delaware, while the longstanding 1240 AM signal continues to serve listeners throughout South Jersey. Together, these frequencies unite rock fans across both sides of the Delaware River, creating a single powerful destination for rock radio in the region.

Leading the on-air lineup is The TJ Show, a fast-paced and entertaining morning program that sets the tone for WSNJ’s irreverent yet passionate energy. TJ’s dynamic personality and deep roots in broadcasting bring an authentic voice to mornings in Wilmington. Throughout the rest of the day, the station keeps the volume up with an unrelenting mix of modern and active rock, curated for fans who still believe in loud guitars and real attitude. Beyond the music, WSNJ’s Gig Guide gives local artists, venues, and promoters a free platform to share concert listings and upcoming events, reflecting the station’s commitment to supporting the regional live music scene.

Formerly a long-standing South Jersey station on 1240 AM, WSNJ has been reimagined under the ownership of Loud Media NJ, LLC. In 2025, the FM translator previously operating at 99.9 FM was moved and rebranded to 95.1 FM in Wilmington, marking a bold new chapter for the station. The transition from its former variety format to an active rock identity represents Loud Media’s ongoing mission to revitalize local radio, restore community engagement, and deliver passionate, personality-driven broadcasting.
